Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered into a search tool is sent to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies any result. This resource does not keep an internal log of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to this resource may be retained to answer it. Access stays within the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the service may receive technical visit details such as:
- The IP address associated with the connection
- Browser type and version
- Device and operating-system information
- Viewed pages and time spent on them
- A referring site, if one was supplied
- Times associated with page requests
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files that may be placed on a device to help understand aggregate use, including page traffic and navigation patterns. Analytics providers may process that aggregate activity. Browser controls can block cookies, although some functions may operate differently after a block.
What We Do With This Data
- Operating and maintaining the service
- Passing a query to the appropriate search provider
- Understanding which pages are used and need improvement
- Diagnosing service and security issues
- Displaying advertising that may be relevant to a visitor
No Court-Record Data on File
This resource does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of Valencia County court dockets or personal case files. It publishes general routing information for the Clerk of the Thirteenth Judicial District Court, other court clerks, and New Mexico Case Lookup. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or files about third parties.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes shown here. A query submitted through one is handled under that provider's privacy policy, retention practices, and sharing rules. Those practices are outside this resource's control.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to clerk pages, trial-court portals, New Mexico case-search services, legal-aid resources, and outside search tools. A linked destination applies its own privacy policy after a visitor leaves this resource.
Some advertising partners may track activity across websites for advertising purposes. That activity occurs on their systems, not on a court-record file maintained here.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Information may be processed by:
- Search providers that process submitted queries
- Analytics services used for traffic and performance measurement
- Advertising networks serving placements on the pages
- Government bodies when a valid legal demand requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used to protect collected information. Internet services cannot guarantee absolute security, so a breach-free result cannot be promised.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Information believed to have been submitted by a minor will be addressed through the available contact channel.
Your Data Rights
Visitors may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information held about them, subject to applicable law. Court records are different: New Mexico's Inspection of Public Records Act right-to-inspect text, NMSA 1978, Section 14-2-8, and Supreme Court Order 23-8500-007 govern court-record access through the court that keeps the file. At a minimum, a visitor may:
- Request a copy of information held about the visitor
- Ask for correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion where applicable
- Opt out of certain processing where that option applies
Updates to This Policy
This privacy policy may be revised. A revised version becomes effective when posted here with an updated effective date.
Effective date: August 30, 2026
